WELCOME

There are times in our lives when many of us feel stuck or lost, without a clear view of the way forward. We may be struggling with depression, anxiety or want to change unhealthy behaviours. We might be searching for better relationships - with ourselves and with others - or hoping to resolve past loss and trauma. We might simply need someone impartial and non-judgmental to explore who and where we are now and the new paths available to us.

Wherever you are right now, finding a companion for the journey is a powerful first step.

ABOUT ME

I am a fully registered counsellor and trainee psychotherapist whose approach to life and work is rooted in empathy and mutual respect. I have worked in the field of mental health and well-being for many years, in charitable counselling services and in statutory homeless, addiction and resettlement services. I get great joy from working with people from all backgrounds, getting to know their stories and strengths. I offer counselling sessions in-person in beautiful central Winchester rooms, on-line or through a mix of both to flexibly suit your needs.

I love nature and find being in it helps me shift stuck thoughts and feelings. I spend a lot of my spare time walking, running and stomping through fields, woods, hills and beaches. For those of you who are also drawn to the outdoors, I offer walking therapy sessions. You can find out more about how this might work here.

I hold a level 7 diploma in advanced clinical Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, an MSc in Psychology and a BSc in Biochemistry. I love stories and creativity generally, and all of this  influences me as a therapist.  I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a trainee member of UKCP. I adhere closely to their Codes of Ethics. You can find out more about my approach here
